Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Collect copays, deductibles, past due balances, etc.
- Maintain accurate records and files, including patient or client information.
- Check-in patients and distribute proper paperwork.
- Ensure patient has fully and accurately filled out paperwork.
- Verify phone numbers, addresses, and insurance information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in office management practices and calendar management is essential.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
