Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Planning Associate located in Sewickley, PA. The Financial Planning Analyst ensures a positive experience by maximizing the value and benefits of the planning philosophy. They specialize in client service to ensure maintenance of an efficient, organized office that allows the financial advisors to focus energy on building client relationships. The Financial Planning Associate will act as liaison between home office, financial advisor and clients. They provide innovative solutions and ideas so that each client's plan remains relevant to their family's needs as well as the current economic and tax climate.
Responsibilities
- Constructing and modifying comprehensive financial plans for new and existing clients, ensuring advisor is prepared for client meetings.
- Coordinate internal resources to achieve flawless execution client’s financial plan and maintain a high level of existing client service
- Preparing client review materials for review meetings.
- Responsible for managing changes to client plans as appropriate.
- Case design and scenario building.
- Preparing and processing paperwork needed for fee-based advisory accounts.
- Able to communicate with clients to obtain required information.
- Run and analyze performance reports in Envestnet, Morningstar, NMCIR, etc.
- Ability to provide high-quality client service and a white-glove, concierge client experience.
- Optimize growth in both risk management and advisory wealth management businesses.
- Understanding and partnering with internal Northwestern Mutual resources required to execute on client and business needs.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 1 years of investments/financial experience
- History of clean compliance record
- Superior analytical, organizational, research and grammar skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client focus, excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and consistent follow through
- Punctual, and brings a positive mindset and upbeat energy into the office
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
- Securities (7 & 63) and life & health insurance licenses, preferred
