Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Burn Surgeon to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details
- Provide comprehensive Trauma Surgery, Emergency General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery, and Burn Surgery services at an American College of Surgeons-verified Adult Level I and Pediatric Level II Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to adult and pediatric trauma patients.
- Participate in concurrent Burn, Trauma, and Emergency General Surgery call coverage, including in-house call responsibilities.
- Provide coverage in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Burn Unit, and manage critically ill surgical, burn, and trauma patients.
- Supervise, teach, and mentor surgical residents, fellows, medical students, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in both clinical and didactic settings.
- Participate in academic conferences, quality improvement initiatives, simulation-based training, and trauma education programs.
- Contribute to clinical research, scholarly publications, and professional society activities.
- Support the mission of a busy academic surgery division dedicated to patient care, education, research, and community outreach.
Salary : $331,480 - $361,480
