Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director of Simulation Training - Midwifery Services to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Opportunity Details
- Partner with Medical and Nursing Administration, Education leadership, and the Simulation Center to develop and enhance a comprehensive maternal mortality and morbidity simulation program.
- Lead the design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of simulation-based maternal safety education programs.
- Coordinate and oversee course administration, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) activities, as appropriate.
- Prepare simulation environments and facilitate the delivery of high-fidelity clinical scenarios.
- Develop and refine simulation scenarios aligned with educational goals, best practices, and patient safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support learning objectives and improve clinical outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow Simulation Educators in the planning and delivery of simulation experiences.
- Contribute to the advancement of maternal health education through innovative teaching strategies and program development.
- Up to one day of clinical responsibility (negotiable).
Salary : $180,000
