IT Technician

Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is hiring a Full-Time, On-site, Level 2 IT Technician.  This position supports the IT operations of a high energy, fun and growing, private practice Physical Therapy organization with 38 locations.  

The ideal candidate has a strong customer service background, a passion for technology, and a solid understanding of information security concepts. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, eager to learn and grow while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results independently.

Responsibilities include: 

• Manage service requests within the IT Ticket system 
• Configure and install platforms to devices for employees and train on use for new employees 
• Provide technical support by troubleshooting and resolving IT incidents, primarily computers in Windows 11 environment 
• Lead maintenance tasks of computers 
• Oversee 365 licensing for users 
• Work with vendors for product use, enhancements and troubleshooting 
• Create and maintain technical documentation, recommending workflow improvements 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2 year Technology degree or comparable work experience  
• 3 - 7 years of IT work experience with a demonstrated ability to problem solve & take corrective action 
• Advanced desktop troubleshooting skills 
• Remote desktop experience  
• Project management experience 
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Excellent time management skills with attention to detail 
• Travel within Connecticut & Massachusetts; mileage is reimbursed 
• Ability to work occasional weekend hours and some evenings weekly 
• Prior technology training experience preferred
