What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist position at Physical Therapy of Tulsa?
Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics
Tulsa, OK | Full-Time or Part-Time
PT of Tulsa is hiring a Physical Therapist.
We are an independently owned and owner-operated outpatient orthopedic clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since 2010, we have built a reputation for high-quality care, strong clinical outcomes, and a workplace where good clinicians become better.
We are looking for a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist who wants to become excellent in outpatient orthopedics.
This is a strong fit for:
- New grads who want real mentorship from experienced clinicians
- Early-career PTs who want to sharpen their clinical reasoning and manual skills
- Experienced PTs who still care about quality care and continued growth
This is not a strong fit for someone looking for a high-volume mill, someone who only wants to treat athletes, or someone trying to move out of patient care as quickly as possible.
What we treat:
- Post-operative orthopedic patients
- Non-operative orthopedic injuries
- Spine, shoulder, knee, and hip conditions
- Gait and balance dysfunction
- Vestibular conditions
- Active adults, older adults, and general orthopedic populations
What makes this different:
PT of Tulsa is not a corporate mill, hospital system, or physician-owned clinic.
We are a privately owned practice built around individualized care, strong clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, evidence-based progression, and continuity of care.
Our owner is a treating Physical Therapist and board-certified orthopedic specialist who works alongside the clinical team daily. You will work with experienced clinicians who care about getting patients better and helping younger PTs become excellent.
Expected caseload is consistent with high-quality outpatient orthopedic practice, not high-volume churn.
What we are looking for:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (or eligible for Oklahoma licensure)
- Strong communication skills
- Coachable and accountable
- Good clinical judgment
- Team-oriented
- Comfortable treating a broad orthopedic population
- Willing to learn and improve
Compensation and benefits:
- Salary is competitive and based on experience. We are straightforward, fair, and transparent.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with employer match
- 15 days PTO, increasing to 20 after your first year
- Malpractice insurance covered
- Full CEU coverage, including specialty certification costs and exam fees
- Real mentorship, daily collaboration, and meaningful clinical development built into the job
- Sign-on bonus
- Additional compensation available for bilingual clinicians, including Spanish-English and American Sign Language (ASL)
Why PT of Tulsa:
This is a place for clinicians who want to practice at a high level, keep improving, and work with people who care about doing things well.
If you want mentorship, autonomy, strong clinical development, and a team that values quality over volume, we’d like to talk.
