What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant position at Physical Therapy of Newport?
The Physical Therapy of Newport is looking for a CA licensed PTA for a part time position.
The PT of Newport is located in Corona Del Mar where it conducts business at the House of Fitness, a personal training studio.
Our physical therapy patients mostly consist of high-level orthopedic cases, costumers who are also focused on maintaining their fitness level.
We are looking for a licensed PTA who is also experienced in personal training. The ability to combine traditional fitness exercises with the appropriate rehab protocol is very important to us.
We have a great crew of experienced personal trainers, current and future PT students, all of the working under the supervision of our licensed PT. Due to our increasing patient load we need to hire a licensed PTA.
At this point the position would be part time, 10-12 hours/week, mostly in the morning with some flexibility. With time the position could become full time. The starting pay is $35-45/hr, depending on experience.
