Physical Therapist- Part time with option to grow

$50-80 per hour (based on experience and additional qualifications)

16-30 hour work week – plus your own clients

Part-time seeing our patients.  We will also make our space available for you to share if you are looking for a space to see your own clientele.

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality physical therapy services for patients.  We are a low volume clinic and spend one-on-one time with each patient.  We do not dilute our care by treating many patients at the same time.

Essential Functions:

• Understand appropriate state requirements and adhere to the statutes which govern how Physical Therapists may practice and whom Physical Therapists may supervise.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct skilled treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary. Document this need clearly in our computer EMR.
• Maintain ongoing documentation in which goals, progress toward functional goals, and medical necessity are clearly stated.
• Complete all required documentation (pre-certifications, physicians reports, daily notes, coding, etc.), appropriately and in a timely fashion to meet facility, physician, and payor deadlines.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors always.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Bilingual preferred
• Leadership skills sufficient to effectively direct and supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants in delivering quality care to patients.
• Strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
• Effective clinical problem-solving skills (i.e. identify and prioritize issues in responsive manner, develop and execute sound, innovative action plans, ensure appropriate results.).
• Strong communication skills for accurate, concise, and organized oral and written presentations of information to patients and staff.
• Possess experience and skills for effective and efficient handling of therapeutic equipment, such as laser, ultrasound, or reformer.
• Computer skills for effective clinical documentation and coding, etc.

Required Credentials:

• Florida State licensure maintained without issue
