Our goal is to promote healing and care to our patients. This physical therapist assistant position reports to the physical therapist, clinical director and/or regional director. Other responsibilities include:
- Adheres to physical therapy standards of care
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Follows the direction of the physical therapist
- Implements the patient’s plan of care and administers treatments under the physical therapist’s direction
- Coordinates patient services with the physical therapist
- Supervises physical therapist assistant students
- Participates in maintaining a clean, safe physical environment
- Completes all required clinical documentation electronically
- Schedules patient appointments
- Consults with physicians about patient progress
- Assists the physical therapist and administrative clerical staff
