What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Fabricator position at PHX?
A Phoenix based high tech manufacturing company is hiring Plastic Fabricators/Welders as well as Fabricator Apprentices. If you are interested in learning a high demand skill in the technology industries we will train you.
Applicant must be able to:
- Read prints and execute plans
- Use a tape measure
- Be mechanically inclined
- Communicate with designers, managers
- Stand for long periods of time (we provide ergonomic mats)
- Enjoy learning an array of different skills and processes
- Keep an organized work space
- Have consistent attendance
- Work well with other internal departments
- Pass a pre-employment drug test, everify and background test
- Some travel required (we do offsite jobs around Phoenix as well as out of state)
The ideal candidate would have experience with (not required, will train):
- HDPE, PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, PVDF, PFA
- Hot air welding
- Extrusion welding
