What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmers Market Sales Staff Saturdays - Pretzels (starting October) position at Phx Dough Box?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who would love to sell delicious soft pretzels at farmers markets in and around Phoenix. The position starts with the fall season (10/3/26). You must have availability every Saturday until 3pm. Sunday opportunities also available in addition to Saturday.

Pay:
- $100 per market plus tips ($40-70 in tips per market)
- Hours: 4h of market time plus drive/set up (approx. 6h total time)
- Additional shifts at other markets and events can be picked up on a voluntary basis
- Hired as 1099 independent contractor
Requirements:
- Must have a car
- Be able to lift equipment like tents and sand bags up to 40lbs to set up the booth
- Must be able to stand for 4h while selling pretzels
- Must have a phone with internet connection
- Must be excited to sell pretzels
- Should live near south Phoenix (85040) since equipment and pretzels need to be picked up (approx. 6am) and dropped off (approx. 12pm) before/after each market
Schedule:
- Candidate should be available Saturdays starting October 3rd 2026. Sunday markets also available if desired (fall/winter only)
- Position Start: October 2026
- Availability preferably every Saturday. Sundays are flexible
Tasks include:
- pick up pretzels and equipment from owner (85040)
- Drive to farmers market (approx. 30min drive)
- Set up booth
- Hand out pretzels and accept money
- Pack up booth
- Return equipment and leftover pretzels to owner
