- Role Description
Operations Support
- Coordinate daily market operations
- Verify routes, schedules, and staffing needs
- Create and track air freight shipments
- Assist with inventory tracking and replenishment (Phox Boxes, totes, etc)
- Maintain operational checklists and SOPs
- Track key operational issues and follow through to completion
Backup Driver
- Serve as backup driver when needed
- Cover routes during employee absences
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles
- Conduct company vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure route documentation is completed accurately
- Maintain company vehicle incident reports
Facility Oversight
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and market locations
- Check cleanliness, safety, and organization standards
- Identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Verify equipment is functioning properly
- Ensure supplies and consumables are stocked
Team Support
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees
- Provide coverage for operational gaps
- Help enforce company policies and safety standards
- Communicate operational concerns to management
Customer & Vendor Relations
- Communicate with contractors
- Resolve routine service issues
- Verify contractor performance and delivery schedules
- Support customer service escalations when needed
What Success Looks Like
After 6–12 months, this person should:
- Know all routes and operations
- Be able to cover a driver shift with minimal notice
- Identify facility issues before they become expensive problems
- Keep operations moving
- Act as "eyes and ears" in the field
Required:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and background check
- Comfortable driving delivery vehicles
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Basic Excel/Google Sheets skills
Preferred:
- Logistics experience

- Supervisory experience
