About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantitative Researcher/Data Analyst to play a crucial role in enhancing our understanding of user behavior and product performance. This position will leverage deep expertise in Qualtrics to design, implement, and manage in-product intercept surveys, including workflows, embedded data, and directory management, to effectively capture user feedback. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between UX research and product teams, translating data into actionable insights that drive product improvements in both B2C and B2B environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Intercept Survey Design & Implementation:
Design, implement, and manage in-product intercept surveys using Qualtrics, including advanced targeting logic, survey workflows, and cookie preferences.
Manage Qualtrics directories and contact lists for precise participant targeting and segmentation.
Ensure the effective collection of user feedback through surveys, aligning survey data collection with product goals and user experience principles.
Troubleshoot and optimize survey deployment and data collection processes, such as addressing issues with cookies and embedded data.
Analytics, Reporting & Visualization:
• Conduct comprehensive quantitative analysis of user behavior, product performance, and survey feedback to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop, maintain, and automate Qualtrics dashboards to visualize key metrics,track product health, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for various audiences, including product managers, designers, and senior leadership.
Collaboration & Education:
• Work closely with the existing UX Quantitative Researcher to support their analytical needs, streamline data access, and enhance research methodologies.
Foster strong partnerships with qualitative UX researchers to triangulate findings and provide a comprehensive understanding of user needs and behaviors.
Facilitate collaboration between UX and various data teams to achieve shared data goals.
Behavioral Data Integration & Enablement:
Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to integrate survey data with behavioral analytics platforms (e.g., Glassbox) and other internal datasets.
Facilitate access to and understanding of behavioral data for the UX research and product teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Business Analytics) or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product analytics, quantitative UX research, or a similar data-focused role, with significant experience in digital products within B2B and B2C environments.
Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing in-product intercept surveys, including advanced targeting logic and cookie management.
Strong proficiency with Qualtrics and its integration capabilities (e.g., embedded data, XM Directory, Dashboards).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Experience in designing workflows and establishing directories for data access and documentation is a plus.
