What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Builder position at Photomatica?
What We Want:
An entry level builder to join us in our workshop. Experience not required, but we want to find someone that is already familiar with how to build something using a saw and some power tools. You will be working in close contact with a small team of other builders, so we also need someone that keeps their space organized.
Job Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around building cabinets, cutting metal trim, and installing technological components into booths. Our primary clientele are bars, restaurants, and music venues, so there will be a small amount of travel around the area to service booths on-site. In addition, you will also occasionally be tasked with picking up and dropping off building materials.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with tools is a must. A background in carpentry and/or woodworking is also preferred.
- Clean driving record & the ability to reliably transport yourself to and from Treasure Island.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is a big plus (we all have liberal arts degrees so it's okay if its not directly related to building and construction).
Compensation:
Pay range varies between $25-30 per hour depending on experience.
Benefits:
- Paid time off
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- In-person (San Francisco)
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
