Overview:
Supervise a team of packing operations for finished products and goods at processing facilities. They manage operations by directing employees, maintaining inventories and scheduling equipment maintenance. As the Production Supervisor will look for opportunities to make the processes more efficient and sustainable by cutting waste and improving work flow. Also be responsible and carry out shipping/dispatch duties (training will be provided)

What responsibilities will I have as the Production Supervisor:
- Plan, schedule and coordinate employee activities.
- Ensure that products are properly packaged and labelled.
- Communicate effectively with production personnel at all levels.
- Ensure all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to workforce safety are adhered to.
- Make recommendations on packaging operations to make them more efficient and sustainable.
- Plan, coordinate and execute continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping department on the movement of finished products.
- Work with logistics teams to determine how much materials are needed for production.
- Track and report on production and safety metrics.
- Be responsible for dispatch and shipping.
What education and training is required?:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment with proven leadership.
- Must have experience of managing a small team.
- Ideally have shipping experience or willing to be trained.
- Confident on IT and IT systems.
