Photo USA is one of the leading worldwide suppliers of dye-sublimated products, equipment, supplies and services. Our 87,000 square foot U.S. headquarters, located in Fremont, California, is our distribution point for blank and fully decorated goods throughout North America. Photo USA is rapidly expanding its business and we are looking for a highly motivated AP accountant. Candidates for this position must be experienced, detail-oriented, and proficient at managing multiple ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for month end close of the general ledger, including but not limited to, preparing, and posting journal entries, preparing supporting schedules and reports
· Book all accrual, prepaid, fixed assets items as necessary and perform month-end recon on these accounts
- Managing daily AR and AP transactions timely and effectively
- Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform payroll reconciliation and propose payroll JEs
- Match and reconcile bank transactions for month-end cash reconciliation
- Reconcile and record all credit card transactions and monitor compliance with corporate card receipt policy
- Reconcile various balance sheet accounts such as cash, credit card payables, inventory, & debt liabilities, etc.
- Ensure daily inventory transactions are accurately captured
- Prepare journal entries including inventory adjustments, reserves, cost of goods sold, etc.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts; research discrepancies and ensure accounts are reported accurately with documented support
- Initiate ACH and wire payments
- Prepare and file sales, use, and property taxes
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Perform special projects as assigned
- HR experience preferred
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in accounting
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise required
- Strong analytical / interpersonal skills and a high proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Teamwork and collaboration-oriented, with the ability to work independently
- Must demonstrate considerable energy, focus, drive, and a sense of urgency
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, operate within deadlines, and escalate when appropriate
