Position Summary
The Night Shift Production Supervisor serves as the operational leader for all evening production activities. This individual works under the direction of the Production and Facilities Managers and is responsible for carrying out established procedures, supervising production employees, monitoring productivity and quality, maintaining production records, and ensuring shift goals are achieved.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, bilingual in Spanish and English, comfortable working with spreadsheets and data, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. While this position performs many of the day-to-day duties of the Production Manager during the night shift, it is a support role that operates under the guidance and direction of the Production Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesShift Leadership
- Supervise and direct all production employees during the evening and night shift
- Ensure production schedules and priorities established by the Production Manager are executed successfully
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and adherence to company policies
- Address routine issues and escalate significant concerns when appropriate
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Team Communication
- Communicate expectations clearly in both English and Spanish
- Train and coach employees on procedures and best practices
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional conduct
Production Monitoring
- Track output, quality, and efficiency throughout the shift
- Verify that products meet company standards
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues to minimize downtime
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production records and reports

- Report key metrics, observations, and shift summaries to the Production Manager
- Ensure documentation is complete and organized
Inventory & Materials
- Monitor material usage and communicate shortages or discrepancies
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams as needed
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (Required)
- Previous experience supervising employees in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software systems
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and data management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during evening hours
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or operations
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, or a related field
