Phone Smart Repair is a fast-growing, customer-focused electronics repair company specializing in smartphone and tablet repairs. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy Front Desk Associate to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for customers—checking devices in for repair, processing transactions through our POS system, and ensuring that every customer has a smooth, professional experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide excellent service throughout their visit.
- Check in devices for repair by accurately entering customer and device details into our repair system.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately using our POS system, including cash and credit/debit payments.
- Answer phone calls, provide repair status updates, and assist with scheduling.
- Close out repair tickets and review completed work with customers before checkout.
- Upsell accessories or services such as screen protectors, cases, or warranties to enhance the customer’s experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter, waiting area, and checkout space.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate repair information and timely service.
- Assist with basic store tasks such as inventory checks, stocking accessories, or light merchandising as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred (experience in the tech/phone industry is a plus, but not required).
- Comfortable using POS systems and computers; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
