What You'll Do
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and support children's growth.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and skill development.
- Establish a consistent daily routine that helps children feel secure, confident, and ready to learn.
- Provide attentive care and support to meet each child's individual needs throughout the day.
- Observe children's progress and celebrate milestones while helping identify areas where additional support may be needed.
- Build positive partnerships with families through open communication and regular updates about their child's day and development.
- Foster a classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or early learning setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and a genuine appreciation for the unique ways children learn and grow.
- Coursework, credentials, or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach that helps children feel safe, supported, and confident.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively partner with families and colleagues.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to balance the needs of a busy classroom.
- Current clearances, First Aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- A positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and passion for making a difference in the lives of children every day.
