Lead Veterinary Technician - Path to Office Manager

Phoenix Veterinary Center is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited hospital, and we're a busy, growing single-doctor practice where your work makes a real difference every day. We're hiring a Lead Veterinary Technician to guide our technical team on the floor. It's also a stepping stone: the role is designed to lead into our Office Manager position. As you and the practice grow together, you'll take on more of the operational side of the hospital, including scheduling, inventory, team coordination, and the systems that keep a thriving clinic humming. We'll develop you for it, and when the time is right, the role is yours to step into.

What you'll do as Lead Tech:

• Lead, train, and support our technical and assistant team so everyone can do their best work
• Set the standard for patient care in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and treatment
• Be the go-to between doctors and the floor, keeping the day moving smoothly (and keeping your sense of humor when a Great Dane decides nail trims are optional)
• Own the tech workflows and protocols, and look for ways to make them even better
• Keep inventory, equipment, and controlled substance logs organized and compliant
• Welcome and onboard new team members so they feel at home from day one

• Growing responsibility for hospital operations, staffing, and client experience
• Partnering with practice leadership on HR, compliance, and day-to-day management
• Hands-on mentorship from our Practice Manager to build real management skills
