Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Skilled Metal Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting production, finishing, and general shop operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform deburring on metal components (grips, frames, safeties, magwells, trigger parts, and other firearms components etc.)
- Sandblast parts and prep for coating
- Cut and organize raw materials for production
- Operate and maintain shop machinery
- Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and shop materials
- Monitor and manage chip barrels; assist with recycling
- Maintain shop cleanliness and complete daily maintenance tasks
- Clean and organize build boxes after shipments
- Coordinate heat treat drop-offs/pickups and assist with supply runs
- Communicate production flow with supervisors and shipping team
- Assist with training entry-level employees
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, metalwork, or machining preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good hand dexterity and visual precision for small parts and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
