Outside Sales Professionals at Phoenix are responsible for creating, managing and retaining solid, long-term business relationships with customers and reaching sales and territory gross profit goals. This includes prospecting and soliciting orders within the guidelines established by management, identifying customer needs, and proposing solutions and appropriate products and services to meet those needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and qualify leads and generate new business opportunities in order to achieve sales quota on a monthly and annual basis.
- Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the salesperson and the company.
- Cultivate and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers
- Manage the coverage of assigned geographic territory in an organized and effective manner
- Learn about new products and services being offered by Phoenix and present them in a positive, professional and consultative manner in the marketplace
The position reports to the National Sales Manager and is based out of the sales professional's home office. The position requires extensive traveling throughout the territory.
