Inspector – Level II - NIGHT SHIFT

We have an opening for an Inspector – Level II based out of our Houston, TX location. Under the direction of the Inspection Manager, the Inspector – Level II uses a wide range of tools and instruments in the inspection of parts, assemblies, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Responsibilities also include:
- Perform inspection procedures on material, parts and assemblies working from general drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Apply established inspection procedures while using a wide range of tools and instruments.
- Maintain calibration of a variety of pressure gauges and other instruments required for numerous testing applications.
- Communicate in a clear, professional manner with engineers as well as customers.
- Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
- Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks.
- Perform duties according to the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in a related field or facility. The successful candidate will be able to use common inspection tools and instruments: SAP, hardness tester. They will be able to work from drawings, sketches and specifications without detailed inspection procedures. Level II in the NDE disciplines of liquid penetrate, magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing would be preferred.
