Position: Crane Operator
Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM M-F, with frequent daily overtime. Weekends required when necessary.

Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities) Required:
- Proficient in operation of Overhead Crane (remote)
- Experience utilizing overhead crane to move heavy loads, basic computer skills (MIS/Scanner).
- Flexible in work tasks to complete packaging and other requirements as production demands require.
- Fork-lift, overhead crane, basic computer skills (MIS/Scanner). Ability to be trained to work on Pack Line/Rewinder when demand necessitates it.
Preferable: Experience as a crane operator/material handler in a similar environment. Comfortable with moving steel coils w/ C-hook.
Work Assignment:
- Support the traffic department from 10:00a-6:30p in loading/unloading trucks to aid in efficiency.
- Support the production areas to aid in loading/unloading lines with coils, removing/dumping scrap hoppers, and ensuring downtime is not incurred.
- ·Equipment and devices verification
- Work as the primary crane operator in the facility
- Load/unload all tractor-trailers
- Pre-load tractor-trailers for next day deliveries
- Stage material for next day loads
- Ensure all material is properly received into inventory each day
- Be flexible in your job assignment based on the daily demands of the facility to work as a packaging operator, rewinder operator, etc.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Light to moderate noise; the warehouse requires a hardhat plus eye- and occasional ear-protection
