About the Role
We are seeking a Mid Senior .NET Developer to play a key role in a multi-year modernization effort focused on migrating legacy applications to .NET Core. This position blends hands-on technical work with team leadership through influence, mentorship, and collaboration.
This is not a lone wolf role. The ideal candidate brings solid technical judgment, patience with legacy systems, and a willingness to help guide junior developers while adapting to the pace and structure of a large organization.
What You ll Be Doing
- Lead and execute the replatforming of legacy .NET applications into .NET Core
- Design and implement modern backend services with AWS integration
- Support frontend and backend integration across modernization and new development efforts
- Collaborate with developers of varying experience levels, offering guidance and support
- Work within Agile-style workflows, adapting as needed to organizational constraints
- Partner with stakeholders to balance modernization goals with operational realities
What We re Looking For
- 5 years of strong, hands-on experience with .NET Core and .NET
- Proven experience modernizing or refactoring legacy applications
- Comfort working in large, structured, or public-sector-style environments
- Experience contributing to or leading work in Agile teams
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, adaptable mindset
- Willingness to work onsite two to three days per week
Nice to Have
- AWS experience supporting .NET Core applications
- Prior work in public sector or large enterprise organizations
- Exposure to AI-enabled or cloud-native modernization frameworks
- Experience supporting both frontend and backend development
Salary : $45 - $60
