Job Title: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - Onsite Tues-Thurs)

This role is ideal for a hands-on, action-oriented professional who can balance structure and flexibility within a government environment. You'll manage and support IT initiatives across infrastructure, SaaS, and licensed software platforms-driving progress while ensuring compliance with agency processes. Whether you're an emerging project manager or an experienced coordinator ready to step up, this position offers meaningful exposure to government IT project delivery and the chance to grow within a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Your role:

• Lead or support IT projects spanning infrastructure, SaaS implementations, and pre-built licensed software (no custom development).
• Coordinate project activities-scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and documenting decisions and action items.
• Generate reports and monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks or delays.
• Facilitate communication between vendors, project managers, and internal teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with project timelines and government procurement processes.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes across the team.

What you've got:

• Experience managing or supporting IT projects, ideally within a government agency or similarly structured organization.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, SaaS, and licensed software systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional approach to challenging situations.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
• A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
