Position Overview:
We are looking for a technically savvy and driven Sales Engineer to join our team. This role combines technical knowledge with customer-focused sales efforts, making it ideal for an engineering student or recent graduate with an interest in technical sales. You’ll be responsible for providing technical sales support, managing client relationships, and generating new business through proactive outreach. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Support: Understand customer needs and offer tailored sensor solutions, presenting Phoenix Sensors' products effectively in calls and meetings.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
- Sales Outreach: Make outbound calls, respond to inquiries, and engage in meetings to drive new opportunities.
- Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Develop accurate quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications to move opportunities forward.
- Collaboration: Partner with our technical team to ensure customers receive accurate product information and solutions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Document sales activities in CRM software, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field would be ideal.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand technical products and explain them to customers.
- Any experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
- Ability to actively listen to customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools and QuickBooks is a plus.
