What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partnerships Intern - Fall 2024 position at Phoenix Rising FC?
Position Overview:
The 2024 Fall Partnerships Internship is a part-time unpaid position with Phoenix Rising Football Club, focused on gaining hands-on experience in partnership activation and account servicing with a professional sports organization. The position will focus on assisting the PRFC Partnerships team by leading projects and assisting with day-to-day department responsibilities related to partnership and premium service, operations, and events. In addition, this position will play a role in coordinating and executing any hospitality events that are hosted for corporate partners and premium clients.
In-Office duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate 20 hours a week to be available for in-person office hours
- Collaborate on sponsor recaps and renewals
- Assist in maintaining sponsor documents and content capturing
- Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets and documents for recaps
- Assist with outside player and marketing appearances
- Assist in management of partner accounts
- Assist in the composition of partner communications
- Perform various other duties as assigned by Partnerships team members
- Other duties as assigned
Game Day duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Complete the pre-game staging of partner giveaways and collateral
- Be a point of contact for partners / assist in organization of activation locations
- Assist with the distribution of sponsor deliverables pre- and post-game
- Assist with the execution of in-game and halftime activations
- Manage the photography proof of performance projects, which includes capturing partnership elements at home games/events and organizing the photos
- Required to work all home games and partner events as necessary
- Perform various game day duties as assigned by the Partnership Coordinator
