Janitor and Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. .
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Carry out residential painting projects when necessary to enhance the appearance of facilities.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked, maintained, and stored properly.
• Act as a porter by transporting materials or supplies as needed throughout the facility.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or minor repair work is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
