Role Description

Phoenix is looking for a special person to run Business Development: An ambitious, energetic, and process-driven sales professional with a passion for world-class content creation, design, events and experiential. A strategic thinker who can blend deep industry connections and knowledge with a keen understanding of sales and marketing principles to foster relationships, identify potential clients, and unlock revenue streams.


This is a results-oriented sales position with the goal of driving sustainable financial growth for Phoenix. Though there can be some flexibility, we imagine the role will initially involve working from our location in the DUMBO until you have the materials and strategic plan to begin landing clients and then flexibility for work from home schedule.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • Strong / deep relationships with decision makers / marketers at brands or agencies.
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services
  • Working closely with CEO / Executive Producer to convert prospects into customers and to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills
  • Experience in lead generation, sales and market research
  • Developing growth strategies and plans with clear objectives to increase revenue and business expansion
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote Phoenix
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Utilizing CRM software to track progress with new prospects, manage business leads, and analyze data to inform business strategies
  • Weekly / Monthly, and Quarterly review and reporting to CEO
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the creative industry is a plus


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of sales experience in entertainment, advertising, tech and / or related industries

• Excellent client service & time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

and handle a busy and varied workload

• Possess a high level of written, verbal, negotiation, analytical skill as well as

consistent and concurrent follow through on multiple projects


A PLUS:

• A working knowledge of live action, animation, VFX, experiential, color and post production

processes

• BA or BS degree in film, art, communications, or related fields strongly preferred


COMPENSATION:

Compensation for this role will be a base salary of $150,000 Commission. Once you have demonstrated an ability to close deals, salary can be renegotiated to a level commensurate with the deals being closed, plus commission.
