Irrigation Technician

Yardnique, Inc. is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team, serving both residential and commercial clients. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient operation of irrigation systems, helping clients maintain healthy landscapes while promoting water conservation. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, and valves for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Test and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper water coverage and pressure.
• Recommend system upgrades or modifications based on client needs and site conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Educate clients on irrigation best practices and water conservation techniques.
• Stay current with industry trends, technology, and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Valid drivers license and insurability.
• Proficiency in basic math and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring mobility, lifting up to 75 pounds, and handling tools and equipment.
• Good functional vision.
