What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Engine Technician position at Phoenix Landscape Mgmt?
Phoenix Landscape Management, a commercial landscape industry leader for over 20 years, is looking for a Technician with a good attitude and an excellent work ethic.
Job Requirements:
- Work will include automotive and small engine repair and maintenance.
- Experience repairing and maintaining both gasoline and diesel engines
- Experience with lawn care equipment repair, such as mowers, blowers, and chainsaws. (Stihl and Kohler preferred)
- Able to accurately diagnose problems quickly
- Attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good record over the past 3 years.
Additional Responsibilities:
- You need to have organizational and computer skills. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
- Order parts and shop supplies.
- Maintain assigned materials/equipment and maximize their useful life
- Maintain tools and equipment according to manufacturers’ directions
