Experience Preferred in Machining, straigthening, Heat treat/furance operator.

Position Summary: Operates and monitors heat treating equipment to process materials according to specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Goal: Perform accurate and efficient heat-treating operations.

What this looks like day to day:

· Load and unload materials into furnaces and equipment.

· Monitor process parameters and adjust as needed.

· Follow specifications and work instructions accurately.

· Perform inspections to verify results meet requirements.

· Follow all safety procedures when handling materials and equipment.

· Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

· Report hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week. We are looking for a Heat Treat Tech.

This shift is Monday - Thursday 9am-730pm.

The Heat Treat Technician will be responsible for the safe operation of equipment, load size, load set up, setting of correct programs per specification, and maintaining production expectations. The technician is required to follow written order instructions and maintain a high level of quality. The Heat Treat Tech will exhibit ownership of the department and quality of work as well as effectively communicate across departments and with management. Must be able to function as an independent worker and self-starter.

The ability to utilize computers and read line charts is essential. Will report to department supervisor.
