Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IV certification and hands-on experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. Your expertise in IV infusion, patient assessment, and nursing procedures will ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient care delivery.
The position is working in a primary care clinic 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV infusions accurately and safely, following established protocols and infection control standards
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations
- Maintain detailed medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient education on medication administration, pain management, nutrition, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license with current state licensure; certification in IV therapy/insertion required
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; proficiency in medical documentation and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
