ABOUT PHOENIX GENERATION
With Gen Z comprising nearly 30% of the population, the future is clearly in the hands of young changemakers. Phoenix Generation exists to empower youth to build a more just, compassionate, and connected society. Through our programs, we provide platforms for youth to share their visions, engage across differences, and drive systemic transformation.
The Phoenix Generation movement is the youth movement of the Central Florida Pledge, dedicated to turning vision into action. Our mission is to empower change and cultivate the next generation of leaders. We believe in the power of young people to drive meaningful, lasting transformation in their communities and
beyond. Through inspiration, skill-building, and ongoing support, we equip youth to become engaged, compassionate, and effective community builders. Rooted in the values of peace, love, and justice, Phoenix Generation nurtures leadership, challenges bias, and creates space for young people to rise—together.

THE CENTRAL FLORIDA PLEDGE
The Central Florida Pledge is a first-of-its-kind network of “community first responders,” everyday people who want to bring communities together and protect one another. The Pledge asks residents to treat all people with kindness and respect, especially those with whom they disagree, and to respond to and support those experiencing threatening incidents. Our mission is to build a culture where every individual feels valued, respected, and protected, regardless of their faith, race, gender, ethnicity, culture, beliefs, or identity.
I WILL lead by example, treating all people with dignity and respect, especially those with whom I disagree
I WILL refrain from inflammatory words and actions, and actively support those being attacked
I WILL report threatening incidents of hate and violence to 800-423-TIPS (8477)
