Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Furniture Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in office furniture installation, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams of 10–15 installers effectively. This role also requires the ability to drive and operate a 26ft Non-CDL box truck to and from job sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise a crew of 10–15 installers on various projects.
- Ensure all installations are completed on time, accurately, and according to client specifications.
- Read and interpret installation plans, drawings, and furniture layouts.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment on-site. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members. Operate and drive a 26ft Non-CDL truck for deliveries and installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues quickly and professionally.
Qualifications
- 5 years of office furniture installation experience (lead or supervisory role preferred).
- Proven ability to manage and motivate large installation teams.
- Strong knowledge of office furniture systems (workstations, desks, conference tables, lounge furniture, etc.).
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be able to drive a 26ft Non-CDL truck.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
