We specialize in the design, installation, service, and inspection of fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, access control, and surveillance systems.
We're growing and looking for a motivated and experienced Security System Installer / Programmer to grow with us. If you have 5 Years' experience in fire and security installation and are looking for a place where your talent is recognized and rewarded, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Service and/or installation, programming, troubleshooting, maintenance and overall operation of Low Voltage Security systems: CCTV, Card Access, Intercom, Intrusion Systems
- Low voltage wiring, RMT/Rigid Pipe-Work
- Familiarity with IP networking, VLANs, and PoE devices
- Experience working onsite with installation and commissioning teams
- Ability to be in the On-Call rotation for Fire AND Security related afterhours/emergency service issues
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals
- Must be able to work in NYC - most of our client base in within the 5 boroughs with some clients in New Jersey
Required Education/Experience:
- High School or equivalent (Preferably Trade School Diploma)
- Electrical/Fire Alarm Installation/Programming/Servicing: 5 years min
- OSHA 30 Safety Certification
- SST Safety Certification
- Valid Driver's License (no points or at-fault accidents)
