Responsibilities
- Monitor the feed production process to ensure efficiency and timely loading and shipment of products.
- Operate batching systems to accurately measure and mix ingredients, both bulk and bagged, according to specifications.
- Prepare and assemble goods for shipment, ensuring all products are properly labeled and organized.
- Complete receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on feed products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of materials and finished products in the warehouse.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts to move materials and load orders safely.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain physically active for extended periods.
- Available to work - Sundays starting at 8:30 am, with floating end time; Tuesdays through Thursdays starting at 10:30 a.m. with a floating end time.
- Basic math and computer skills for accurate record-keeping and operation of automated systems.
- Experience operating forklifts, tractors, or front-end loaders is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
