Duties
- Regularly clean and sanitize restroom surfaces, fixtures, floors, mirrors, and dispensers to uphold high hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other essentials to ensure continuous availability.
- Conduct routine inspections of restrooms to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions to keep floors spotless and safe.
- Perform janitorial tasks including waste removal, disinfecting high-touch areas, and ensuring restrooms are odor-free at all times.
- Assist with minor custodial repairs or notify maintenance teams for more complex issues requiring professional attention.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping to maintain various flooring types.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and climbing ladders if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily cleaning routines within scheduled hours.
