Position Title: Accounts Payable
Supervisor: Director of Finance and Accounting
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable person is responsible for providing support in the accounting department and fulfilling administrative tasks. This position also provides support to various departments.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and BASIC DUTIES:
- Accurate maintenance of A/P for multiple entities
- Assistance with payroll process as needed
- Maintain clean vendor files and organization of A/P related documents
- Reconciliation of multiple accounts including reviewing and reconciling of certain vendor invoices
- Assistance in financial reporting and other Ad-Hoc reporting
- Organization and maintenance of files, invoices, etc
- Communication with “customers” of accounting department, both internal, and external
- Completes other tasks, as assigned by supervisors
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- College Degree (Bachelor’s).
- Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- 2 years’ experience with QuickBooks
- Strong Knowledge of GAAP
- Strong computer Skills

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Will spend majority of time working on a computer and using office equipment. Frequently interacts directly or over the phone with staff members during the workday. May be required to travel between facilities. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position.
