Grade 125- Placement range: $74,115.00 to $84,703.00
The Coordinator of Assessment and Accountability provides overall management of the district’s assessment program by managing State and district assessments for students, complying with state department requirement for administration of assessments, preparing student testing information for school planning, and sharing assessment results with district stakeholders. This vital position will provide data retrieval, analysis (specifically assessment data analysis and interpretation), and training using a collaborative model around data driven dialogue to drive instruction and provide coherence with data sources and assessments within the District.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and coordinates a comprehensive assessment system that includes management of all required State and local assessments as well as common formative assessment activities for district-wide programs.
- Serve as assessment liaison between state and district by attending all State testing and accountability meetings and staying current on any information provided by State, maintain test security and ensure the proper administration of State and district assessments
- Develops, coordinates and delivers professional learning activities related to assessment including training for test administration, data use and interpretation and assessment literacy.
- Plan, coordinate and provide professional development to school principals and staff to run reports, analyze data and use data to inform planning and instruction. Work with principals to ensure data chats are taking place at schools on a consistent basis, and that data is being used to adjust instruction to meet the needs of targeted subgroups, as well as individual students.
- Collaborates with colleagues to interpret assessment results and create reports for school personnel, community, state, and others. This effort includes providing support to principals related to their School Integrated Action Plans and to district leadership related to the Integrated Action Plan.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree required · Current AZ teacher certification required · Five years successful teaching experience · Three years data management/interpretation and/or assessment related experience |
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: · Master’s degree · Current Arizona Administrative Certificate · Evidence of statistics or research methods work experience or graduate-level course work
