What You Will Do
As the Manufacturing Engineer, responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- Interpret and convert customer technical data for Data Bus, RF, Point-to-Point wire harnesses to manufacturing documentation for building high quality products.
- Problem solves and troubleshoots internal production or customer design issues.
- Recommends corrective or preventive actions to improve product quality or reliability.
- Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures.
- Provide technical expertise or support to production teams.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Aerospace Manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
- Experience in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling software.
- Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications.
- Possess strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Programs.
- Hands-on experience with aerospace harness design, electrical interconnects, integration, and systems for aerospace equipment.
- Experience working with program requirements, equipment performance specs, wire connection lists, wire gauge sizing, and connector selection.
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner effectively across multiple levels.
- Be team-minded and ready to work in a multi-functional and multi-cultural, fast-moving, and complex/technical environment.
- Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and critical thinking and analytical skills.
