Position Summary
This position performs diagnostic cardiac sonography examinations and cardiology procedures to provide data for diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
Position Duties
Maintains a safe environment for patients, families, and coworkers while performing all activities of the job.
Performs finalizing functions using Syngo and/or Electronic Health Record to facilitate timely and accurate results, charge capture and archival of studies. Takes steps to quickly remedy identified errors and omissions utilizing the chain of command as necessary.
Quality Improvement
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and integrates feedback into daily practice with the assistance of a mentor/preceptor as appropriate or needed.
Identifies and troubleshoots malfunctions to ensure continuous proper and safe operations. Reports service needs and preventive maintenance issues as appropriate by utilizing the help desk and biomed service tickets as appropriate. Enters data in logs as required.

Quality Improvement
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and integrates feedback into daily practice with the assistance of a mentor/preceptor as appropriate or needed.
- Care of Professional Environment and Equipment Maintenance
Identifies and troubleshoots malfunctions to ensure continuous proper and safe operations. Reports service needs and preventive maintenance issues as appropriate by utilizing the help desk and biomed service tickets as appropriate. Enters data in logs as required.
- Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
