- Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)
- Floating: Required
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- EMR: EPIC
- Patient Population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure
- Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
- Unit Size: 64 beds (2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 Psychiatric)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in New York. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent ED experience, including pediatric (PEDS) experience, prior travel nursing experience, and proficiency with EPIC EMR. Candidates must hold an active NY RN license and current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Manage post-surgical and general medical patients
- Administer medications and monitor patient conditions
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
Pay: Up to $2,866.00 per week
