Role Description The Quality Assurance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Memphis, TN. This role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, monitoring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and ensuring that logistics operations meet established quality benchmarks. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising quality inspections, reviewing documentation, analyzing data for trends or deviations, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Assurance Supervisor collaborates closely with operations, warehouse, and transportation teams to drive continuous improvement, maintain pharmaceutical safety standards where applicable, and support internal audits and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Management, with experience implementing and maintaining quality systems.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and recommend practical process improvements.
- Knowledge of Cold Chain or related disciplines, especially as they apply to handling temperature-sensitive or regulated products.
- Familiarity with healthcare or pharmaceutical logistics, including regulatory requirements such as FDA, GMP, or GDP standards.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience supervising or leading quality-focused teams in a warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
