Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and clinical observations
- Develop and communicate treatment plans, including medication instructions
- Obtain and document detailed patient medical histories
- Review diagnostic tests, reports, and clinical findings to formulate accurate diagnoses
- Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care to individuals and families
- Accurately complete documentation and assign ICD‑10/CPT codes in a timely manner
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Meet all continuing medical education (CME) requirements
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations and organizational policies
QualificationsEducation
- Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent from an accredited APRN program
Licenses & Certifications
- Active State APRN License
- Valid NCCPA certification
- Current professional license in good standing
- DEA registration
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to interpret scientific journals, technical documents, and legal materials
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, regulatory agencies, and healthcare partners
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw accurate clinical conclusions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
