Phoenix American Companies is currently seeking Claims Adjusters to join their team remotely.

About the role:
We are looking for claims adjusters to join our team full-time. Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. NO WEEKENDS!!! Flexible Schedule! This position receives incoming calls from repair facilities reporting mechanical claims and applies technical expertise to investigate the cause of failure, verify coverage, and negotiate fair costs for repairs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Place outgoing and incoming calls in a fast-paced call center environment.
Apply automotive technical knowledge to address each claim.
Verify coverage against requested repairs; verify repair costs of parts and labor using Alldata, Mitchell, and other national labor time guides.
Use professional verbal communication skills with callers and written communication skills to document claims.
In some cases, assign independent inspectors to investigate claims, and review reports and photos to determine applicable coverage.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Mechanical knowledge in automotive and/or RV repair systems is required.
Skilled in diagnosing automotive mechanical failures is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and a high level of patience.
Ability to multitask.
Proficient typing and computer skills.
ASE certifications or factory equivalents would be preferred.
Candidates who are shortlisted are required to travel to the Miami office for 2-3 weeks of training.
What We Offer:
Salary $45,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience.
$2500.00 Bonus after completing 6 months of service.
