Full Job Description
Phoenicia are seeking skilled, dependable, and team-oriented Line Cooks to join our culinary teams in Birmingham.
We are looking for cooks who take pride in execution, consistency, and creating exceptional dining experiences through quality and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Execute menu items with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation standards
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and chef specifications
- Maintain organization and readiness of assigned stations throughout service
- Ensure food quality, portioning, and timing standards are met
- Work collaboratively with kitchen leadership and team members to maintain efficient service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
- Assist with prep, stocking, and closing responsibilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of line cook experience required
- Grill experience strongly preferred
- Fine dining, upscale casual, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen-required equipment
