Job Overview
As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver food and beverages to tables while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills.
- Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or modifications to orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including the dining area and service stations.
- Help with restocking supplies in the kitchen as needed.
- Pack togo orders accurately.
- Work days, nights/or weekends as required.
- Lift and carry up to 30 Pounds.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on helping guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
- Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with bussing tables and cleaning duties is beneficial.
