Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, managing reservations and seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and cocktail options, to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales quickly, and manage credit card payments with POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and assisting in food preparation when needed.
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction in a lively restaurant setting.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
